We do not guarantee wildlife sightings. This tour package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. Departure time is approximate and varies from different operators. You are advised to bring your own binoculars in order to visually enhance your experience of viewing Borneo's endemic wildlife in their natural habitat.
Tips are never expected but will always be appreciated.
2:00PM : Meet your friendly guide at the hotel lobby and ready to depart for a 1.5-hour ride to Bongawan river.
3:30PM : Arrive at the jetty. You will be welcomed with a local refreshment, accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature.
4:00PM : Embark on a wildlife cruise and don't forget to keep your eyes peeled so that you won't miss any wildlife sightings.
Once you have completed the journey, drop by the Sky Mirror Beach and snap Instagram-worthy pictures along with your family and friends.
6:00PM : After photo sessions, enjoy a sumptuous Malay-style dinner.
6:30PM : As the darkness sets in, embark for another evening cruise to see the amazing sight of fireflies lighting up the surrounding trees.
7:30PM : It's the end of your journey. Time to bid a goodbye and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.

We were lucky to spot a whole troop of proboscis monkeys right before sunset. The boat was comfortable, and our guide was super knowledgeable. The fireflies at night were the cherry on top — it felt like a fairy tale. Highly recommend this to nature lovers!
A really peaceful way to spend the evening. The mangroves were beautiful, and the guide gave interesting facts about the wildlife. We saw crocodile tracks too! Would’ve loved more time on the river, but overall, a great trip for families and photographers.
Loved every minute of it! The cruise was well-organized, and I appreciated the safety briefing before we set off. Seeing the proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat was a rare treat. The fireflies at dusk made it feel like a dream. Perfect end to our Borneo trip!
